Hello

Many education authors have guided me in a variety of education settings. My heart's desire rings true with this quote from John Milton Gregory's book, The Seven Laws of Teaching:

"True teaching is not that which gives knowledge, but that which stimulates pupils to gain it."

My Story

Graduated Radford University 1985 BS Food and Nutrition

Worked in food industry with Marriott Corporation
Taught secondary science classes at a private school along with being Involved in extracurricular activities such as student council, fundraisers, and homecoming.
Went back to school 2018 to become a certified teacher through Shenandoah University Career Switcher program
My hobbies include baking, gardening, walking/ hiking, books, and crochet.
My favorite movies are Princess Bride and The Help
