Detailed Schedule 

1st  Semester 

1st Block – English 11 in room

In English 11, students take their secondary English SOLs both in reading and writing. Throughout the semester students will learn how to analyze various pieces of literature such as prose, poetry, short stories, and novels. English 11 will be reading and discussing Of Mice and Men, Their Eyes Were Watching God, and The Old Man and the Sea. Students will also advance their writing skills by learning how to edit and revise their own (and their peers') writing. Finally, English 11 students will demonstrate an ability to build and give a presentation in front of the class to ensure public speaking comprehension. 

2nd Block – Economics & Finance (EFE) in room # 211

The Instruction in economics and personal finance prepares students to function effectively as consumers, savers, investors, entrepreneurs, and active citizens. Students learn how economies and markets operate and how the United States' economy is interconnected with the global economy.

 

3rd Block - Economics & Finance (EFE) in room # 214 

The Instruction in economics and personal finance prepares students to function effectively as consumers, savers, investors, entrepreneurs, and active citizens. Students learn how economies and markets operate and how the United States' economy is interconnected with the global economy.
